In his early stages in Italy, he started as a fashion photograper in magazines like Vogue and Haarper Bazar. After that he decided to settle down in the Canary Islands. There he develops and produces books, photography series, posters, CD Roms, calenders... to promote tourism in the Canaries.
He receives different prizes and awards from the National Government Department of Information and Tourism, as a recognition for his efforts.
Gatti has never left aside his most creative and artistic facet and, especially during these last years, he has used computers and new technologies to develop series of collages and photomontages, where nature is always the main character.
